ESPN Slowing Women's Progress in Sports

Wasn't expecting to get a rant out of any TV viewing as I was stuck with ESPN in the waiting room while my mother in-law had back surgery.  I never knew just how little real content can be found on ESPN in the mornings.  If you missed the first three plays of Sports Center, don't worry!  There's a fourth one.  Hit the link to find out what I have an issue with...

High Salt Warning

I'm on the fence with this one.  As someone who has high blood pressure that needs to watch my sodium intake, I agree there is way too much salt in restaurant foods.  But as someone who once worked in the restaurant industry, I can see why this can cause potential financial stress in a saturated food service market.

Is it Over?

This is as much about providing information about ranting.  I've really heard enough about it already.  And I'm going to guess that most who will read this will agree with me.  Hit the link to see what's got me going tonight.

Child, What Child?

I'm all about technology, I'm the first to admit that.  But I think they are going a little too far with it's use now.  I just saw something on the Today Show (I'm on vacation and that's what the wife watches) that has me really annoyed!

What to Do with All the Snow?

As many of you know, the northeast area of the United States has been hit rather hard this winter season.  But let me make a clarification that the news won't do.  A very large part of the northeast is actually having an average snowfall.  They are talking about the big cities, not the rest of the area.  So, is that what I'm going off about tonight?  Of course not, but it does relate...

I'll Pay Later

Football is about over, SU doesn't have a basketball game tonight, and the wife is watching Harry Potter with the youngest.  And that leaves me time to do something, so what better thing to do than waste some of your time with another post where I complain about some random thing that I've seen or heard recently.

Streaming Services Don't Pay

Got tonight's idea from watching one of my favorite netcasts, TWiG.  This Week in Google talks about much more than just Google.  It talks about a lot of technology happenings from the week.  One of this week's topics had to do with a decision made by Taylor Swift.  And I've had enough of the lies and twisted truth being spewed about this.

Password Resets and Account Closing

Early in the morning and I've already got something to go off about.  There's no trickery involved with the title of this one.  It has to do with password resets and how I hate the way things are handled to make your account "safe" from hackers.

Such Disrespect

Alright, I'm not going to pretend to be starting up on a regular basis anymore.  Life is in the way and I'm enjoying the time with my kids.  So, please follow me either on the blog or on Google+.  That way you will know when I post something.  Today's rant is all about complete and total disrespect for those that have put their life on the line for our country.  And this comes from the top of the heap...

We're Sorry, We are Investigating

So, there's been a lot of issues lately with major companies.  And they all give us the same song and dance.  But who is suffering with all of these?  Perhaps you can guess where I'm going with this, or maybe you can't.  There's been a ton of companies lately with major data breaches or serious customer service flaws.  And consumers, that's me and you, are suffering from it...
