That Doesn't Apply to Me

Alright, life has gotten in the way of all the griping I want to do so what it looks like is that something is going to have to really bother me in order for me to post.  And I've got a good one tonight!  I may have complained about something similar before but I just don't want to look as I know this is something I've never seen before.

Why is it Such a Surprise?

Why Yes, It's Free

With the cool and damp weather we've been having, I haven't had much ambition to get outside.  That means sitting in the house.  Watched a couple of classic movies (real movies, the Back to the Future trilogy) and played a bunch of games on my tablet.  And that is what I'm going to talk about tonight.

Who Should Pay for That?

Tonight there was something on the local news that really annoyed me.  And it effects every American that is reading this.  Does it effect anyone outside of America?  I can't answer that for sure, but it might.

Speech Issues

Tonight's post is all about a problem that seems to be growing.  There are only 2 choices for local news in Syracuse (the local affiliate for NBC also owns the CBS affiliate).  But even before that, we watched the ABC affiliate because it's actually got the best local content.  But there is a problem that is growing at the station.

Why are They Advertising?

Over the last couple of nights, I've seen a commercial played a couple of times.  The commercial is what actually bugs me.  They aren't selling anything and I really can't figure out why they are advertising.  Yeah, you guessed it, hit the link to find out what.

They Must Be Ahead of the Curve

Didn't catch the news tonight.  We went out to a local Mexican joint to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.  But I did catch something that I found a little annoying yesterday on the news.  What was annoying about it?  They made it sound like there was an option.  Hit the link to find out what I'm talking about.

Food Network Gone All MTV

Do you remember when MTV played music all the time?  Or even most of the time?  I do.  And as I've watched the Food Network over the years, cooking has become less and less important.  Really starting to get to a point where there is little cooking at all.

A Ghost Town

Not sure about anyone else but I'm really tired of hearing the same thing over and over from every news source out there.  Perhaps they should really take a look before they make comments and write stories about it.  Yeah, I'm going to go off on the news again.

But I Found It Online

The age of the internet and digital files has changed a lot of things in our lives.  Digital content has given us millions of texts from around the world at our fingertips.  It's also done a lot for seeing photographs of areas of the world that would have never been taken before.  But it's also brought about a lot of issues regarding that content.
