A couple of years ago, my employer generously started offering pet insurance for what I thought was a reasonable rate. A few months prior to that, we had to cancel a vacation because our dog got sick so it seemed like a good idea. Recently, she tore her ACL and needed surgery so I put in a claim. The runaround that I got and the end result have really gotten me completely and totally annoyed! Hit the link to read more about my horrible experience and what company I suggest you avoid...

Enough of the Oversight!
I was a faithful user of Google Play Music from the beginning, as in within a month of the start of the service. This switch to YouTube Music, though I understand the reasoning, has been horrible! Not only am I now missing a ton of music from my custom built playlists, but now they are taking things way too far with the oversight given by the government. The specific oversight that I'm speaking of is regarding the protection of children of parents that should not have been allowed to have children! Please read on and comment...

That's Just DUMB!
I've had a difficult time getting worked up enough to feel the need to post something but this topic has just done it, completely. I don't normally have an issue finding a solution to my computer problems, but I did so I posted in a forum looking for an answer. What's the software and what is the issue? Lifelong SU Fan Has Had Enough
I've lived in the Syracuse area my whole life and have been a SU fan as long as I can remember. But I'm about done with money ruling everything regarding a college that is supposedly a not-for-profit institution. I will post a link to 2 different articles, you will get the reason I'm annoyed once you see them...

How Can We Tell?
Weather forecasting has supposedly gotten more accurate since I was a teenager. But that isn't what I'm seeing, and honestly, I've had enough of being told that "it will" then seeing it not even come close. And the worst part is that a lot of businesses are reacting based on these weather forecasters being so assertive about it will happen.

Can We Stop Letting Silicon Valley Make Our Decisions?
I really like technology and all that comes with it. But what's really starting to get on my nerves is how every technology reporter seems to fall for all the BS that the tech giants in California are deciding is best for us. What's set me off this today is an episode of TWiT (This Week in Tech) on the network named after the show. Before you click the link to that, it's a long episode at 2 hours and 20 minutes and I don't really have timestamps for my complaints. Hit the break and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Holiday Get Togethers
Today's problem is how people see the holidays now versus what it used to be. What makes it worse is when people pretend they know what is the best way to spend Christmas when in all reality, they are completely clueless. Hit the link to find out what I mean...

Two in a Row, and It's not Fake!
This should be a bit quicker than last night's. Fake news has been the talk of the internet and news coverage. But this article has really pushed my button. It's become almost a buzz phrase now to and it's getting annoying.

It's not as Wonderful as They Claim
I just don't get why everyone seems to think electric vehicles are going to save the world. There are a lot of issues that seem to be ignored because it's still easier to ignore all the facts just to appear like their interests lie with what's best for the world. The truth is though, they really only care about their bottom line...

Are Smart Devices Worth the Hassell?
Every where you turn, "smarts" are being added to devices. You name something and I can guarantee that someone is attempting cram extra crap into it fit into the smart thing category. Is this really the direction that we need to go?
